It's refreshing to listen to Gran Ronde's uplifting post-pop. They may not be more than a handshake away from the bands listed above, but they do it just as well — minus the whole "I'm detached from reality" vibe. Their new album, Secret Rooms, is a rewarding experience and will drop Tuesday on Filter Recordings.
