Voytas' hazy, overdriven pop comes across like DayQuil. It's a bit sleepy with the sustaining guitars and mathematical drums, but that's the point. The song bridges the gap between indie rock and dream-pop as it churns along at a snail's pace. You feel like the music is about to come to an uneventful finish. Thankfully it doesn't.
