Gutter Twins' Greg Dulli Hospitalized, Cancels Show
Greg Dulli was rushed to the hospital after falling seriously ill during a performance in Belgium on Friday night. Will the band reconvene?
In a recent MySpace bulletin from
Gutter Twins bassist Scott Ford, singer/guitarist Greg Dulli had to be taken to the hospital during the group's performance in Brussels on Friday night. Dulli fell ill during the ninth song of the band's performance and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The rest of the band stayed behind for a three-song encore.
Dulli was later diagnosed with dehydration and hyperthermia, forcing the Gutter Twins to cancel their show at Rotterdam. According to the band's MySpace page, Dulli is reportedly "doing well after being put on bed rest" and will continue their European tour tonight with a sold-out show at Vega in Copenhagen, Denmark. Ford said the band –
which is also slated to perform at this year's Lollapalooza – "will make every effort to return to Belgium and Holland this summer."
